About the Workshop
In regions affected by war and political instability, staff and frontline professionals are often left without adequate tools to process their own experiences while supporting others. This online workshop, facilitated by Ali el Attar, offers an integrative approach to staff care rooted in mediation, symbolic expression, and narrative techniques. Participants will explore how creative and culturally attuned methods can enhance emotional processing and resilience within conflict-affected contexts.
Ali draws from over a decade of field experience in humanitarian settings to introduce practical tools that can be applied in both individual and group settings. The training combines theory and experiential learning, making it relevant for professionals supporting others in high-stress environments.
